J.P. and Heather Howell have a powerful story to tell, and message to spread.  One that will resonate with anyone who is aspiring to reach their goals, and or overcome a struggle along their path.  They want to offer a different approach to mentoring and guiding our younger generation. The Howells have both gone through their own struggles. At the height of her collegiate athletic career at USC, Heather broke her back and with it her Olympic dreams; JP who is a Major League Baseball player, had season-ending shoulder surgery in 2010 and thought his career was in jeopardy.  They both know it’s easy for life circumstances to throw you off the right path.  Both of them have drawn strength and solace from one another through the good and bad times.

They have seen the difference that it makes by just having each others love during the tough times.  That has been all they needed to keep moving forward in the right direction and they put that as their first priority.  This is why their wedding song was “You and Me can do anything.” And now together they have started the You and Me Foundation to make sure each child, teenager, and young adult realizes no matter where they are at in their path right now, they have both You and Me to help guide you in discovering your best path.  There is nothing more important then having that one angelic person in your life…and that is what they want to be for the younger generation.

Heather is an author and has been a national broadcast journalist for Fox Sports. JP is a Major League Baseball player for the Tampa Bay Rays.  The Howells both hold compassion and understand how difficult it is these days for the younger generation to be true to who they really are.  That is why they decided to put their combined experiences together to help others discover his or her own potential and their path to happiness, success and a rewarding life. Through the You and Me Foundation, JP and Heather will be helping various programs and mentoring the younger generation so they can discover their best path and live a fulfilled life.
